As I like to do, something lovely and completely non-political to wrap up my blogging day.
Apropos of nothing, really, but while taping this week's Right Angle segments with Bill Whittle and Scott Ott, behind the scenes the three of us embraced a topic too hot for TV: What's your favorite Elvis song?
Mine has always been and will always be "You're The Boss," and not just because it's a duet with the always-delectable Ann-Margret.
But mostly because.
And because of that, several years ago I stumbled across this fan-made music video, stitched together from bits of "Viva Las Vegas."
It's a short little number, but slinky and sultry as only those two could be. Brian Setzer recorded a swingier version with Gwen Stefani for his 1998 masterpiece, "The Dirty Boogie." But as much as you might enjoy that version, it still doesn't quite compare to the original.
Hope you enjoy, and I'll see you bright and early in the AM.
Giving Flag Day some love on today's Facebook Live video:
Can Donald Trump break the Democrats' near-monopoly hold on the black vote, and relegate Donks to near-permanent doom?
That's the subject of my Right Angle this week, heartily discussed with Bill Whittle and Scott Ott.
Go Steve Scalise!
Here's an interview the House Majority Whip gave before the Congressional Baseball Game this evening.
That's right: My memory extends all the way back to... 2009!
