Friday's HOT MIC
No, I was not recently arrested in Wisconsin.
And you'll love this guy.
Jeremy Van Ert, of Marshfield, Wis., was arrested for retail theft following the unusual incident at a Kwik Trip in Marshfield that began late Tuesday and stretched into early Wednesday when the 38-year-old man was spotted around 6 a.m., WAOW reports.
“The subject found himself locked in the beer cooler, knew that Kwik Trip would not sell him any beer, so he decided to remain in the beer cooler,” Marshfield Police Chief Rick Gramza said. “A customer by the beer cooler at about 6 a.m. and saw him inside.”
Van Ert, who downed an 18-ounce bottle of Icehouse beer and three cans of Four Loko while inside the cooler, then fled after employees unlocked it at about 6 a.m., according to a police report obtained by the Wisconsin Raid Daily Tribune.
Wait -- Icehouse and Four Loko? I meant to say, "You'll pity this guy." He either has atrocious taste or locked himself in wrong cooler.
You make the call.
