Joe Biden's Tampa Raid Coincides Perfectly with GOP Convention Theme

I'm a little hesitant to write this because I don't want the Democrats to reconsider their fabulous GOP convention plans. First reported by Drudge and later confirmed by The Hill, the Democrats plan to send Vice President Joe Biden to Tampa to rally outside the Republican National Convention. It's an unprecedented move, and strange for the high level of the person involved. The DNC is going to deploy the Vice President of the United States as some sort of sideshow act to heckle the Republican nominee. It's difficult to imagine any previous veep taking on that role. But this is Joe Biden we're talking about.

Biden will be in Tampa for the first day of the GOP convention, Monday.

Republican officials have said that their first day of the convention will be themed around the idea "we can do better" than President Obama's administration, and will feature speeches from Ann Romney, South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio).

What better way to prove Republicans can "do better" than to just point to the heckling, bumbling idiot outside, and then highlight Rep. Paul Ryan, the intelligent, cerebral man who would replace him?
