ISIS Hackers Plan Cyber Attack Against American Targets at 2:00 P.M. EST
A group of hackers calling themselves "the Cyber Caliphate" are threatening to carry out cyber attacks against a number of American targets at 2:00 p.m. EST today.
According to Vocativ, the targets were not identified on ISIS forums and social channels. The hackers merely promised that their "Message to America" will be "surprising" and will "frighten America."
The ISIS-affiliated Cyber Caliphate is the group that hacked into the Twitter account of the United States Central Command back in January. The Twitter account was suspended at approximately 9:00 a.m. EST.
