Clyburn: 'Incompetent' is Racist Code Language Now
Predicting that Democrat race baiters would play the race card in defense of Ambassador Susan Rice was the easiest prediction I've ever had to make. Even singling out Rep. Jim Clyburn of South Carolina was easy. The race card is the only card Clyburn knows how to play. The media never calls him on it, which is the only thing that can make hacks like him knock it off.
President Obama hasn't said whether he will nominate Susan Rice to be secretary of State, but the debate over her is already intense.
Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C., told CNN on Tuesday that some Republican claims that Rice is "incompetent" may be racial in nature.
"These are code words," Clyburn said, adding that "these kinds of terms that those of us — especially those of us who were born and raised in the South -- we've been hearing these little words and phrases all of our lives and we get insulted by them."
Rice, the current U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, has been criticized by Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and other Republicans over comments she made following the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya.
Rice has been criticized, for your information David Jackson of USA Today, because she said things about a deadly terrorist attack that were not true. The evidence assembled suggests strongly that she knew they were not true when she said them. Most people would adjudge her to have lied, if the mainstream media and hacks like David Jackson of USA Today bothered to do their jobs. But it's now racist to point out the obvious. And the dishonest passive-voiced media, exemplified by David Jackson at USA Today, goes out of its way to avoid just laying out the facts.
Hacks. The lot of them.
