CA enviro group sues to stop solar plant

It has come to this: A conservation group is suing the federal government to halt construction of a solar power plant in California.

The complaint said the project's approval process failed to analyze and mitigate the Ivanpah plant's impact on migratory birds, the desert tortoise, which is a threatened species under federal law, desert bighorn sheep, groundwater resources and rare plants.

Apparently we're supposed to power the nation with magic pixie dust now.  No, wait - that hasn't been studied for its impact on turtles and bighorn sheep either.
