The good part is, hey, toys.  Or at least that&amp;#8217;s what happened when we moved to Blu-Ray almost as soon as it was available.  The Samsung player (the only one available at the time) pretty much sucked, with load times best measured in Popes, and a stubborn refusal to play any discs which had ever even shared a room with some dust in it.
