   I think it’s unnecessary to wonder whether a tragedy like September 11 is fit for artistic treatment. Humans are artistic by nature, and those events occurred in a time and place surrounded by artistic photographers with cameras in hand. It would have been beyond human capability for those artists to turn a blind eye to the scene before them. They gave humanity they highest gift they had to offer
