Notorious liberal filmmaker Michael Moore seemed to explode with rage on Twitter last night. Not only did he think Republican nominee Donald Trump won the first presidential debate, he warned Clinton backers that unless they did something earth-shattering, Trump will take the White House.
“Pro-Hillary gloaters doing end-zone dance again when still on 50-yd line,” Moore tweeted after the debate on Monday evening. “U MUST get it in your head TRUMP IS GONNA WIN and act accordingly!”

In his typical overblown manner, Moore warned that “if u just turn off the TV right now and do nothing, you’ve just elected Donald Trump.” Exasperatedly, he added, “Do something! Plan what you’re going to do tomorrow.”
Immediately after the debate, Moore began his jeremiad with the two words: “It’s over.” The liberal filmmaker declared that “Trump, the egoist, the racist, the narcissist, the liar, ‘won.’ We all lost. His numbers will go up. She told the truth. So what.” Fact check: Whether or not Trump is a racist, most online polls placed him as the debate winner. Two more scientific polls released Tuesday morning said Clinton won the debate, however. As PJ Media’s Roger Simon quipped, “Nobody knows anything.”

Moore quoted Fox News contributor James Carville, who called Trump “awful” and argued that the Republican’s very awfulness is why he will do well. “Of course he was. That’s why he’ll do well. His base is rabid & energized. Hers is: ‘I’m voting 4 her.'”
Then again, any attacks against Trump from Michael Moore should always be taken with a grain of salt — the pot calling the kettle black is an understatement.
