BEIJING (AP) — A teenager killed eight people with a knife and wounded five more in northeast China after falling out with his girlfriend, state media said Thursday.
The teen killed two of her family members and six more people before fleeing, the state-run Legal Daily newspaper said. It reported he was caught but did not describe the circumstances.

And of course, we now need to start pushing “spoon control” in order to address America’s obesity problem.
Hey, they already have “knife control” in Britain. Folding knives with locking blades are illegal, can’t be sold in the country. Your folding Buck or Spyderco is probably illegal there. Spyderco actually makes folding clip knives (to sit at the edge of your pocket) which don’t lock, aiming for the British market. Of course, the rest of us know that the locking blade actually makes the knife safer.
When Chinese knives are outlawed, only Chinese outlaws will have knives?
Just doesn’t have the same ring to it.
Maybe if they just outlaw any knife with a blade longer than 2 inches. that way if someone does go on a knife rampage, they won’t be able to do as much damage.
