When visitors to the White House website click on “Fiscal Responsibility” under the “Issues” section, they are directed to a page that includes the following:
Cut the deficit in half by the end of the President’s first term. On January 20, 2009, the President inherited a $1.3 trillion budget deficit. The President has put forth a budget that will halve this deficit by the end of his first term, bring non-defense discretionary spending to its lowest level as a share of GDP since 1962.
Though that would mean cutting the deficit to $650 billion, Obama’s budget projects deficits of $1.3 trillion in fiscal year 2012 (ending this September) and $901 billion for fiscal year 2013. Non-defense discretionary spending is not at the lowest level since 1962, either (more like 2008 or 2001, depending on whether you’re comparing it to this year or next).

Republican running for office should point this out every change they can. His lies will become apparent to all.
gee whiz, Obama inherited from a Congress he was a member of, a $1.3 trrillion deficit. A Congress controlled by Democrats, both chambers. Poor baby, boo hoo. And of course proceeded to make things worse.
If I remember correctly the White House has a contract with the “Webmaster” for 18 million for 5 years….. HAHAHAH
It would seem that the WH is far too concerned with parties, vacations, golf and inspecting school children’s lunches to ever address such lapses in judgement. I do hope, as 4quarts suggests, that the Republicans take snap shots of these inanities and idiocies and plaster them across all non-Obama-cooperating news agencies and web portals…although the greedy little socialist media outlets would most likely accept filthy Republican lucre to lambaste their hero so they could afford parties, vacations and golf!
4quarts: Yeah, the GOP should point out his lies at every opportunity…but how do we get any media besides Fox to run it?
Fascism is a marriage of government with selected corportaions (General Electric comes to mind) and propaganda outlets, ABCBSNBCNNPRPBS.
Whomever the candidate is…he or she must find a way to break the liberal media’s propaganda chokehold. Fox isn’t enough. It’s constantly compared to MSNBC, which is probably the reason GE established the network, folks have come to ignore MSNBC, then assume Fox is the GOP version, and it isn’t.
Our candidate needs to take on MSM interviewers who constantly push a false narrative…they must keep the people from looking at the economy. Once folks see the damage Obama has done and is doing, he’s through.
But how to do this? We must get the message out.
It is a waste of time pointing obamas lies, the list is nearing the size as the IRS regulations and there are none so blind as those who will not see. half the democrats believe every word the teleprompter says and the rest think that they are in on a game to dupe republicans.
We are screwed and all the free contraception in the world is not going to help! It actually makes things worse.
