The Hill: Rep. Ron Paul will not seek re-election to the House

Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) said Tuesday that he won’t seek reelection in 2012.

Paul posted to his official Twitter account a message had he had “decided not to seek re-election to Congress,” along with a link to a website, The Facts, in which he explained his decision.

“I felt it was better that I concentrate on one election,” Paul told the Texas news outlet. “It’s about that time when I should change tactics.”

Looks like he’s gonna go for another split vote, when we least need one, ’cause he ain’t NEVER gonna get the GOP nomination! Whatta patriot. =>[.]<=

If Paul, or some other small government Repugnicon doesn’t win the nomination, betcherass I’ll bolt for a third party. McCain cost you my vote in ’08. Romney will cost you my vote in ’12.

Actually, he should thank you – or those who get Romney the nomination. I’m one of those independents you Repugnicons are trying to attract. I’m not remotely interested in Obama Lite.
