I made a bit of news this week when I went on KTAR Phoenix’s news talk show “Mac and Gaydos” and called Joe Biden an “idiot.” Right before appearing on the show, I had seen the now notorious video clip of the vice president putting on a faux Southern accent and telling an audience that included African-Americans, that if Romney were elected, he is “Going to put y’all back in chains.” My initial reaction was absolute anger and disgust. Like Paul Ryan said Thursday, I found his comments desperate.

‘bam had plenty of good reasons to pick Biden.
Many people have pointed out that Biden is great insurance against impeachment, and given ‘bam’s intentions for America and his contempt for the Constitution, taking out that insurance policy was well worth the costs.
Additionally, Biden is well-known for being reflexively pro-Iranian, though why he is seems to remain a mystery. Biden, brainstorming right after 9/11, proposed to his staff the idea that America write a huge, stimulus-sized check to Iran to assure the Iranians that America did not blame them.
On that particular occasion, his staff managed to throw a net over him before he could get to a microphone with that beauty.
In contrast, pro-Islamist, pro-Muslim Brotherhood Obama no doubt liked where Biden was coming from when he learned of it.
That brainstorming session may well have tipped the balance to Biden for VP.
Obama recognized that Biden is a fool, and picked him in the ticket to show everybody that he didn’t need a VP. This is an overconfidence error. Now he regrets it, and could use all the help he could get. Too late. I only hope this will be the error that will make Obama fall.
When Maghan McCain thinks you’re stupid it is time to recognize that your calling in life is to ornament a garden.
