“Clock-Boy” Ahmed Mohamed’s visit to the White House is reportedly still on, despite the “awkward” fact that he met Wednesday with Sudanese president and war criminal Omar al-Bashir.
The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Bashir in 2009 for genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity in Darfur.
The 14-year-old “whiz kid” — who was briefly arrested in September after he brought a suspicious looking “clock” to an Irving, Texas, school (which he called his “invention”) — may be putting the U.S. president “in an awkward situation,” according to Fox News, because of his chummy visit with the evil, genocidal president of Sudan.
The White House has not yet announced any change of plans for the invitation or the event – an Astronomy Night scheduled for Monday that brings together NASA astronauts and government scientists with students and teachers.
The White House did not return a request for comment from FoxNews.com.
Obama invited Mohamed to visit the White House on Twitter following his arrest for making what looked to authorities like a “hoax bomb.”
The boy and his family have been on a worldwide tour of Muslim countries to speak out against racism, “meeting with Turkish President Ahmet Davutoğlu in New York, and visiting a number of Middle Eastern countries such as Qatar and Saudi Arabia,” as well as his father’s home country of Sudan. Ahmed’s visit there has supposedly raised eyebrows and expectations that the invitation could be rescinded due to the bad publicity.
Ahmed said he was pleased to meet the president and vowed to return one day with a new invention, according to the radio broadcast.
But Obama would no more rescind Ahmed Mohamed’s invitation to the White House than he would disown his own brother, who also happens to be very chummy with the genocidal Bashir.
Barack Obama’s half-brother Abon’go Malik Obama serves as executive secretary of the Sudan-based Islamic Da’wa Organization (IDO), which is an arm of Bashir’s terrorism-sponsoring Sudanese government. The IDO “seeks to expand Wahhabist Islam on the African subcontinent.”
Malik Obama also established a nonprofit in the United States called the the Barack H. Obama Foundation (BHOF).
According to Discover the Networks, ” from 2008-11, while Barack Obama’s IRS was targeting conservative non-profit groups, BHOF operated illegally as a nonprofit entity—falsely claiming tax-exempt status for which it had never formally applied.”
According to Ken Boehm, chairman of the National Legal and Policy Center, this constitutes “common law fraud and potentially even federal mail fraud.”
In 2010, Malik was photographed in Yemen wearing a “keffiyeh”—or scarf—bearing two anti-Israel slogans associated with Hamas.
They read:
- “Jerusalem is ours—WE ARE COMING”
- “From the river to the sea”—a Hamas rallying cry claiming that 100% of the land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, which is where Israel is situated, rightfully belongs to the Palestinians (while Israel has no right to exist).
Abon’go Malik Obama was the best man at Barack and Michelle Obama’s wedding. Barack Obama, in turn, was the best man at one of Malik Obama’s marriage ceremonies.
It’s a sad state of affairs, but if the president’s relationship with his jihadist brother Abon’go Malik Obama has not proven “awkward” for him over the years, it’s hard to see how his White House invitation to America’s favorite “Whiz Kid” will present any kind of problem.
