Foo Fighters 'Rickroll' Westboro Baptist Church

The Westboro Baptist Church, known for their bigotry, hate, and shock value, just got owned!  The group protested the Foo Fighters outside of their concert in Kansas City with signs that read, “God Loves Dead Soldiers” and “God Hates Fags.” To their surprise they were met by founding member Dave Grohl and  his band mates with a little treat in store for them.

The band pulled up in the back of a pick-up truck blaring the song “Never Gonna Give You Up” by ’80s sensation Rick Astley. They were followed by hundreds of fans holding signs that read, “You got Rickrolled” and “Keep it Clean.”  Rickrolling is a popular joke played on internet users that began in the late 2000s. Certain links that a person would click on would re-direct them back to the singer’s hit song.

The hate group is best known for protesting the funerals of fallen U.S. soldiers. The group’s main cause is to spread their hate of homosexuals; they even believe that the act should be a capital crime.

The “church” tried to have a sense of humor about the prank:
