Six HSBC employees, believed to be part of a legal unit in Birmingham, were engaging in some sort of team-building exercise when they filmed an ISIS-style video complete with an orange-clad hostage.
They shout “Allahu Akbar” while one man brandishes a coat hanger, then they bust up laughing.
The video was posted on Instagram, where The Sun tabloid spotted it.
“Once we saw this abhorrent video released by @TheSun we took the decision to sack the individuals involved,” the UK bank’s press office tweeted. “We apologise for any offence.”
