The TSA is on Instagram and they’re sharing pictures of some of the items they’ve confiscated from passengers trying to board planes in the U.S. These are banned items that were discovered in November and December and after seeing the pictures, you may be a little less likely to complain about that long wait in the airport security line this holiday season.
First up are the guns, many of them loaded.
Some individuals, perhaps not satisfied with the plastic knives that accompany their airline food, opt to bring their own cutlery.
And while the rest of us are figuring out how to get our favorite shampoo into tiny bottles that we can squeeze into a tiny clear Ziplock storage bag, other people are trying to figure out the most efficient way to pack…their explosives:

And finally, there’s the weird stuff that you didn’t even know existed:
A keychain punching weapon:
These ginormous scissors:
A lipstick knife (where do I get one of these?)
And of course, this list wouldn’t be complete without snakes on a plane (because airline travel isn’t challenging enough so you need to add a degree of difficulty by stuffing reptiles in your pants).
Enjoy your holiday travel!
