Hillary Clinton may be the whiniest person in the world. Last week the multi-millionaire claimed that when she and Bill Clinton left the White House, they were “dead broke.”
Hillary was dead wrong about that. She had signed an $8 million book contract before leaving the White House. She now makes $200,000 per speech. Her kid makes $600,000 per year from NBC for not even showing up.
Now Hillary tells Jane Pauley that America’s politics are the most “brutal” in the world.
Pauley asks Hillary if she won’t be the first woman president, who will?
Hillary answers “Whoever runs has to recognize that the American political system is probably the most difficult, even brutal, in the world.”
She must be describing how tough the campaign for the presidency is. Sure, it’s tough on the brain and the body. But brutal? The most brutal in the world?
As Hillary says this, Iraqis are being forced to choose sides between an inept Shiite government that has oppressed religious minorities, and the al Qaeda-linked ISIS — which is bragging that it is slaughtering Iraqi soldiers and police by the truckload. Syria’s civil war pits a ruthless dictator against Islamist rebels.
Boko Haram, which Clinton would not even call a terrorist group when she was secretary of state, has kidnapped hundreds of girls and killed hundreds of other people.
China still imprisons dissidents. North Korea still imprisons dissidents, and shoots them, and incarcerates their families. It used to kidnap Japanese children and brainwash them for the purpose of infiltrating Japanese society. The Russian oligarchy suppresses dissent and is believed to have murdered journalists. Even Canada’s restrictions on free speech are tougher than America’s.
It’s time to ask: Is Hillary Clinton insane?
