Not much. Kathleen Sebelius, secretary of Health and Human Services and the mind behind the mess that is Obamacare, doesn’t think she is accountable to the people.

I told my sister (a Sebelius supporter) that the gain for Kansas was a loss for America when she was appointed. Sebelius is not incompetent, she, like her boss, is intentionally destructive.

Last year, following the disastrous "rollout" of Obamacare, Kathleen Sebelius answered a similar question by saying...

"I don't work for the American people."

There is no better indicator of who and what Obama appointees are and how they think than that statement.

Serious question: Has Sebelius suffered a stroke or significant head injury? Again, it is a serious question.

Consider: She was the governor of Kansas for six years. Kansas is not a smoking, radioactive crater after her tenure…it seems pretty fine, actually. Clearly, she wasn’t an unmitigated disaster as governor (she probably had critics, but the state didn’t collapse – low bar, I know).

Now consider her time as HHS Secretary. She has been…and this isn’t hyperbole…a complete imbecile and the country would have been better served had a potted ficus tree been positioned behind the HHS Secretary’s desk for 5 years.

I simply and seriously cannot reconcile her running a state with her running HHS.

The logic is thus: A. Sebelius ran HHS so poorly it is impossible to accept that she had the basic intellect to run a state; B. Sebelius ran a state; therefore, C. Something must have happened to her brain between leaving as governor and taking over HHS…leaving her the dented apple we have today.

Yes, ACA. Are you really going to keep defending it Mr. Progressive? Here are the facts. I know the modern liberal hates facts but here they are.

Barry said if you like your plan you can keep it. Flat out lie. A lie. On video of him saying it. No argument. He didn’t misspeak, he didn’t state a remark taken out of context. He lied. Americans lost their plans. Period.

Barry said premiums would go down. Another lie. Anyone who is remotely successful and many just making average wages—their premiums went up. Now the extremely unsuccessful are happy. Because people like me are supposed to compensate their payments through our taxes. Oh and the expansion of Medicaid for many who will not pay at all. Again off the backs of the producers. But the selling point of cheaper insurance was a lie. Premiums went up. No defense of Barry.

And the rollout is a disaster. That’s what you can expect from government running healthcare. Look at the U.S Post office as Barry gave example. It is going bankrupt as well.

And of course the largest contention is one man pays so another does not. Each premium according to need. The majority pay more so others can pay less. That “according to need.” It comes from a certain Manifesto if you remember—by Karl Marx. But no ACA isn’t really Marxism. My mistake entirely.

And ACA threatens our economy which was already in trouble. Deep trouble. Because people like me refuse to comply with ACA. Law of the land? If is a law that defies my natural rights as a free man. I will not be ordered to pay higher premiums so another may pay less. And now ACA will not sustain itself. The result? The collapse I predict in fiction. I don’t need to predict it in my own writings. History predicts it for me. So does third grade math. So if you would really like to see the United States fall then keep supporting these lunatics that are implementing the policies which have caused the fall of other empires in the past.

As she answered, she clicked her heels together, gave the straight arm salute, and declared, "Because I verk to please mein president."

Why does she even bother to get dressed to go to 'work'? She should arrive totally disheveled and in a bathrobe.

Her job is sabotage; just like the state schools were NEVER intended to actually EDUCATE our youth, HHS doesn't exist to better anyone's condition other than cronys and bureaucrats.

Sadly, few in Washington think they do. To them, it's the other way around. And this attitude is becoming all too pervasive throughout all levels of state and local government. Even librarians are starting to strut around like discount Mussolinis, bellowing from the nearest balcony.

Well I think it is a lot simpler than that. I think she just fell for the jive Arecibo [BF: see footnote 1.] ears was selling, just like a lot of other dames did.

1. Arecibo Observatory, Puerto Rico. From Wikipedia: "The main collecting dish is 1,000 ft (305 m) in diameter, constructed inside the depression left by a karst sinkhole.[9] It contains the largest curved focusing dish on Earth, giving Arecibo the largest electromagnetic-wave-gathering capacity.[10] The dish surface is made of 38,778 perforated aluminum panels, each about 3 by 6 feet (1 by 2 m), supported by a mesh of steel cables. The ground underneath is accessible and supports shade-tolerant vegetation.[11]"

Sebelius track record of website disasters includes her time spent in Kansas.

Sebelius oversaw numerous costly and disastrous government website projects during her governorship including a failed update of the Department of Labor’s program to provide unemployment pay and other services and similar updates pertaining to the Department of Administration and the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) services.

So I'd say she's just doing what comes naturally to her.

She was even insurance commissioner in Kansas. So it's not as though she has no relevant experience or simply didn't understand the industry.

I think it probably has more to do with her advisers in the Gov's office in Kansas. She obviously left the smart ones behind in Kansas to join the idiots in D.C.
