Peter Johnson Jr. interviewed Emilie Lamb on Fox & Friends today. Lamb suffers from lupus, and was working in her job as an accountant five days a week and doing what she could to get ahead. Then Obamacare came along and wrecked her financial situation. She says she is now having to work two jobs, seven days a week, just to make ends meet thanks to a dramatic increase in her monthly health insurance premium. Under Obamacare, she went from paying $53 a month to $373 a month.
Johnson, noting that Lamb voted for President Obama and supported Obamacare, asks her if she feels like Obama lied to her.
“Absolutely. Absolutely, he lied,” Lamb said. “I was promised over and over and over again that I was going to be able to keep the policy I had if I liked it. And they knew several years ago that that wasn’t going to be the case. But yet they continued to tell us that we would be able to keep it.”
