White House press secretary Jay Carney acknowledged that President Obama signing up for an Obamacare plan has no real meaning because he won’t be covered by it anyway, and that the president had an assistant work through the website sign-up for him.

The administration announced before Christmas that Obama “was pleased to participate in a plan as a show of support for these marketplaces which are providing quality, affordable health care options to more than a million people” and chose a bronze plan, even though “the president is one of the 85 percent of Americans who gets his health insurance through his employer and, like previous presidents, is privileged to receive health care from the military.”

Today, Carney called it “largely a symbolic move to demonstrate, obviously, his commitment, which I don’t think could be any clearer, to the Affordable Care Act.”

“So, it’s correct that, like all presidents, he gets his military care from the military — I mean his health care from the military. But he enrolled for that reason, to — because he said he would and because he believes that, as so many millions of Americans have demonstrated over the past several months, that it is very much a product that is worth having,” he added.

When pressed on the topic, Carney acknowledged Obama “did not physically enroll.”

“I don’t think anybody would doubt how busy the president is or anyone would doubt that this president is highly computer literate, but his assistant did the enrollment for him,” he added.

So, the court herald proclaims that the God-Emperor and Prophet-Messiah "Was pleased to sign up for ObamaScam, etc etc". Obama deigns to sign up for his namesake. He condescends to sign up with the common cattle for his monstrosity, knowing that he will never suffer from its iniquities.
Who the bleep does he think he is? Louis XIV at Versailles? "L'etat, c'est moi!" "The law? The law! To hell with the law! Ain't I got the power?" "I am the law!" And Congress the Courts, the reptiles don't say, "Boo!"

VDH handles this "syndrome" quite thoroughly in his article today.

The Elite rail against others, inciting envy, and in the process they escape observation of their own accumulation of weath and power and they escape publicity of their disregard for living within the laws pushed on the rest of us.

Obama could not and would not sign up for the Affordable Care insurance (Obamacare) because he doesn't have legitimate documents that would allow him to sign up. His SS# (042-68-4425) would be flagged as fraudulent and the system would lock him out. The man is a fraud and a usurper and one would think that some smart arse journalist would have figured this out by now.

“I don’t think anybody would doubt... that this president is highly computer literate"

Yeah, sure Jay...
Just like how "articulate" he is, and what a great "speaker" he is.

That you must mention it, clearly means it is not true.

Do we have any independent eye-witnesses to prove he signed up at all, whether he or his assistant did the work? Where did we get this report of him signing up, from HHS?

My understanding is that the system wouldn't accept Barry's fraudulent social security number.

Until He and her Highness Queen Mouchelle sit down and do it themselves, either at a computer or with paper (preferably with a non-assisting witness), *they* haven't done it, symbolically or otherwise. They don't know how long it takes, what kind of invasive or inane questions it asks, they haven't had their credit history pulled.

Completing the online enrollment isn't a statement of computer literacy, it's eating your own dog food. His highness can stuff that "too busy' bullsh!t and take a big bite of that sh!t sandwich that he deemed the rest of us were required to eat.

He can demonstrate it by showing what kind of policies were offered, and cough up the money for it out of his own pocket, along with the deductible, and re-imburse the nation for the "Cadillac" medical service that he and his royal family enjoy at our expense.

Till then, he's another pompous, out of touch, liberal elite snob who doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.

I read where Jay had to get his tongue replaced after this press conference: they couldn't untie it. He's now a caricature of himself...

Again, Obama/Carney manage to use the sign-up ruse not as measure of "participation" by the "symbolic" move; but as another small distraction from all the hidden things that this administration and its sycophants are trying like hell to KEEP hidden.

His birth certificate and selective service are proven forgeries and his SSN
is fraudulent.

Address the elephant in the room Bridget and PJ Media. The evidence is irrefutable.

As Jerry Brown said during his first term as Governor, "Symbolic of this symbolism..."
