Wendy “Abortion Barbie” Davis thinks that her turn at being a Leftmedia darling because she’s willing to fight for the right to abort a baby long past the time even liberal European countries allow will get her enough votes to be the next governor of Texas. Yeah…no.

But look what Politico has to say about it.

I've always wondered why Republicans have not couched the issue of abortion (as the dems, certainly would have done had the positions been reversed) in terms of the real, factual outcomes. Thus, "Help Wendy Murder Even More Black Babies!"
The racial distribution of abortions weighs very heavily on blacks and that is just the way the dems like it and want it.

It's a "winning issue" if, like Sandra Fluke, the game is to establish oneself as a "brand" and/or become a player because of influence and/or money.

IF Davis pumps money to other Dems, she can get some stout clout.

To paraphrase pithy Dan Rather: "She's got about as much chance as an armadillo crossing a Texas 4-lane."

But she wore cute PINK sneakers, and everyone knows that PINK means you support women! The fact that she was really filibustering for continued access to substandard care for a procedure nobody wants in kinda beside the point.

Winning Issue? They must be hoping that it'll win enough of the time and money of the national Democrat voter fraud apparatus to fix the election.

Abortion is a winning issue for Wendy Davis? In her head. According to the MSM. Any truth to the rumor that Sandra Fluke is going to campaign for her, or would that undercut her "platform"?

California keeps electing Loony Pelosi and Nevadans love Nasty Reid, Texans vote against their interests far less often.

Jeeez! How obvious does it have to be?!

Not unlike Sandra Fluck, this is a cynical career move for Ms. Wendy. Abortion? Gun Control? The "pink-sneakered" filibuster? And now the Governor's race?

It's all about gaining nationwide exposure for her move to D.C. She knows she can't go any farther in TX so she exploits the usual liberal suspects to pump her name up in hopes of an Obama appointment. She'd rather be Undersecretary of Panty Shields than just another TX state legislator in Austin. Or maybe some directorship in some liberal lobbying outfit.

Texas isn't "big" enough for her.

But for Pete's sake don't delude yourselves into taking her seriously. Ignore her.

All she needs is "Taxpayer-paid Transgender Surgery" to hit the trifecta.
