Anthony Weiner reportedly visited a local playground Thursday with his and Huma Abedin’s son. While at the playground, Weiner witnessed a kid pee on the swing. The kid’s father whisked the kid off the swing and went to find something to clean up the mess.

That’s when Weiner lost it:

A spy tells us Weiner was heard screaming, “Thanks for leaving this thing soaking wet.”

“The other dad said he was going to clean it up and told him, ‘It’s funny you’re the one talking about other people’s self–control,’ ” says the witness.

This incident marks at least the second time Weiner has been publicly smacked down over his lack of self-control. The first occurred when the people of New York rejected his bid to become mayor.

It's interesting that people who make a living presenting themselves to the public seem to develop a blind spot for their own behavior. It seems to happen to actors and politicians most often.

Of all people, you'd think they would know how to manage their public image most carefully - how to control their words and behavior in order to affect other people in a certain way. Yet it seems like the moment they walk away from the stage, the podium, or the radio or tv studio, they go more or less out of control.

How many politicians have ruined their careers not by doing their jobs poorly but by making spectacles of themselves in public?

He needs to run a write in campaign. Give the general population a shot at electing him mayor. My guess is that they probably would.

Perhaps we should find Lorena Bobbitt to do a 'smackdown' on Weiner.

How many times has Huma said that about what must be constant purchases of iPhones damaged by liquid?

Huma probably locks her iPhone in a cupboard, along with her laptop and lingerie.

Greetings:

I don't know what playground the incident you reported occurred in, but, having grown up in the Bronx of the '50s and '60s, what you reported was a long way from a "smackdown". A "telling off", perhaps, but a "smackdown" no way.

The article doesn't say how old the kid was but I'm guessing the peeing was an accident. Weiner's problems are his own doing and in no way should be thought of as an accident.

Good for the dad to call him out on his bullying. Imagine if the dad wasn't there, would he have berated the kid directly?

Yeah, that's the other thing. Wiener was outraged, because he himself was inconvenienced. No sympathy for the kid who wet himself. He should have offered to help clean it up, and asked if the kid were okay. The guy has no empathy. He is a sociopath. Which is why he got into politics as a Democrat.

He's clearly lost control and needs professional help.
