It hath arrived, ye ladies and gentlemen of America! The President Obama proclamation on the birth of the young prince:

Michelle and I are so pleased to congratulate The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the joyous occasion of the birth of their first child.  We wish them all the happiness and blessings parenthood brings.  The child enters the world at a time of promise and opportunity for our two nations.  Given the special relationship between us, the American people are pleased to join with the people of the United Kingdom as they celebrate the birth of the young prince.

As much as I despise our current Emperor of North America, the statement and sentiment are perfectly appropriate. Even if he doesn't mean a word of it.

While it is wholly appropriate and customary for the American president to make such a statement on this occasion, let us not forget how much Dear Leader has done to strengthen, or at least maintain, the aforementioned "special relationship." The president first removed a bust of Sir Winston Churchill and had it returned to the British embassy...concurrent with his assertions that he opposed British "imperialism" which his father and grandfather (the ones he claims anyway) supposedly suffered under in Africa, and then he chose to back the communist Argentine proclamations of sovereignty over the Falkland Islands. Remember the Falklands? Yeah, those Falklands...the ones the British fought for in 1982....Good show, old shoe...

Remember BENGHAZI!

As a gift to the young prince, Dear Leader is sending him an i-pod with his recent Trayvonn Martin race-baiting speeches as a source of comfort and inspiration....they're age level appropriate anyway ;)

"The child enters the world at a time of promise and opportunity for our two nations."

If by "promise", he means the promise of accelerating destitution and collapse, and by "opportunity" he means the opportunity for the West, as an overarching social group, to commit mass suicide, then yes, this statement is accurate.

Still... can we get more announcements like this? EG, ones that have no effect on any laws or institutions? To the best of Obama's limited ability to do so, it would help.

Arise ye limeys! Now is the time for revolt! Throw off the shackles of political correctness and multiculturalism and imprison parliament. Don't you have even as much brains as Egyptians? God save the king. Even if he's mad, you couldn't really do any worse.
