But others are coming forward with claims that the Obama White House threatened them, too. A story in USA Today cryptically refers to the fact that other reporters have been threatened. And Democrat Lanny Davis, a former aide to President Bill Clinton, says the Obama White House threatened the Washington Times over a column that he wrote.

The White House aide allegedly told Times editor John Solomon, “that if he continued to run my [Davis'] columns, he would lose, or his reporters would lose their White House credentials.”

J. Christian Adams writes of other thuggish behavior displayed by the Obama White House.

The aide at the center of these current threat allegations, economic adviser Gene Sperling, has a history of mistreating reporters who don’t toe the Obama White House’s line. Sperling belittled CNN’s Jessica Yellin for presenting an alternative to Sperling’s viewpoint. He also got testy during an interview with CNBC’s Maria Bartiromo when she persisted to remind him that the Obama White House has no budget.

In both of those cases, Sperling lost his cool when a reporter had the nerve to present a viewpoint that opposed his. Now he’s accused of threatening another reporter for presenting the facts on sequestration.

The weight of the evidence clearly backs Woodward. The Obama White House did propose sequestration, and is now threatening and belittling Bob Woodward for reporting the truth.

The only mystery is why so many "smart" people still support Obama, clearly both most incompetent and dishonest President in American history. If you ask any of his fawning mindless sycophants what in particular Obama
s ever done that's good, or why they like him, the response is always emotional, never factual--e.g. "i just think he's great", or "i just love him" (usually young women!).

Let's see--a demagogue who appeals through compelling speechmaking, degrades and demonizes opposition, doesn't tolerate dissent--where have we seen that before? Adolph who?

Most telling of all is the way Obama has been able to slide by on Benghazi, the worst terror attack on Americans since 9/11. His behavior beforehand (failed to provide requested security assistance), during the attack (where exactly WAS he--WH keeps changing its story!), and afterward the biggest and most obvious cover-up in Presidential history.
Compared to what got Nixon and Clinton impeached, they were nothing compared to Obama's misdeeds and flagrant dishonesty around Benghazi. And remember--no one died @ Watergate!

We all need to encourage our respective Congressman to take their jobs seriously and reconsider impeachment against a President who clearly merits it. It would be the best thing for our country.

0's communications machine will try to ruin, sideline, and crush any journalist who doesn't toe the party line. That happens to be about 95% of them so he really doesn't have much of a problem. On the other hand, when some one like Woodward notices that the Emperor has no clothes and reports that fact, well, the machine kicks into high gear [dudgeon?] Remember you peons, the 0 is NEVER responsible for ANYTHING. And he wants to keep it that way.

Exactly--especially Benghazi! Where was Obama? What orders did he (or didn't he) give? Where was he? Isn't he Commander in Chief? Where in the world do most people think Hillary got her marching orders?

Just amazing how Obama's been able to sidestep responsibility for the worst terror attack on Americans since 9/11. Just compare his complete invisibility on the issue with all the crap being taken by Hillary, CIA, etc., etc.--and none at all by the President!

Compare Obama's hiding out totally on Benghazi with his "front and center" performance as "Commander in Chief" after the killing of Osama Bin Laden, when he was all over the TV, thumping his chest, taking credit for having given the orders, etc., etc.

Just amazing how the "mainstream" media ( and even Romney) have pretty much given Obama a pass on this clearly impeachable fiasco.

Perhaps the title of your article should be:

"Consistency of this administration from Fast and Furious and Benghazigate to threatening journalists"

No longer simply an imperial presidency, but the Al Capone presidency.

If you think it's bad now, wait and see what happens if the elites manage to kill the 2nd Amendment. At that point, reporters will just be jailed.
