CNN Anchor Blames Close Approach of Asteroid on Global Warming

The catastrophic global warming crowd is at it again. This time, a CNN anchor — that noted climate scientist Deb Feyerick — transitioned from discussing the big snow storm into asking her guest, Bill Nye, this question:

“Talk about something else that’s falling from the sky and that is an asteroid. What’s coming our way? Is this an effect of, perhaps, of global warming or is this just some meteoric occasion?”

Very politely, Bill Nye (the Science Guy) ignored her jaw droppingly idiotic question and proceeded to fulfill his role as global warming shill by blaming the snow storm on climate change.

It was an easy transition from blaming the snow storm on global warming to speculating that the near approach of an asteroid next Friday is also due to carbon emissions. Global warming hysterics have even gone so far as to blame earthquakes on climate change — an hypothesis that noted skeptic Steve McIntyre finds dubious to say the least.

Besides, it really doesn’t matter what the weather event is, does it? Record cold snap? Global warming. Heat wave? Global warming. Drought? Global warming. Record rainfall? Global warming. It’s an easy and fun game to play and the media laps it up.

I’m sure Ms. Feyerick was just trying to be helpful and do her part to spread misinformation and junk science about climate change. It’s her job, after all, and fulfilling the agenda of the UN and supporters of catastrophic global warming is a worthy cause, in her eyes.

For the rest of us, I’m hoping that the asteroid turns out to be an alien space ship and makes a landing right in the middle of Central Park. That scenario is easily as probable as the idea that asteroids care what temperature it is prior to slamming into our planet.
