Compassionate Doctor Compassionately Involved with Underage Hookers?

In case you’d forgotten — because hooker scandals don’t always go very far when it’s Democrats involved — Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) is under FBI investigation for diddling around with underage prostitutes in the Dominican Republic. Prostitutes? Underage? Exploitation of Third World women by powerful Americans? If it weren’t for the D after his name, the progressive left would have strung up Menendez from every lamppost already.

But he works in The Name of the People™, which earns him release in whatever form he desires. Because, that’s why.

Well, he seems to have brought along a little friend:

FEC records show that “America’s Most Compassionate Doctor” has donated over $193,000 in support of Democrats in the Senate and other Congressional candidates, and PACs.

The list includes Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer, Chris Dodd, and the rest of the usual suspects.

I had to find the link from a tweep on Twitter, leading to a tiny website I’ve never heard of before. Instead of maybe ABC News or the New York Times or one of those other newsy organizations.

So let’s coin a new word to describe the relationship between the mainstream media and the Democrats: Pretenemies.
