Senate Republicans to Hold Kerry's State Nomination Until Hillary Clinton Testifies on Benghazi

The Cable reports:

Clinton has pledged to remain in the job until Kerry is confirmed, which Obama said he was confident would happen “quickly.” The Senate is expected to take up Kerry’s nomination in early January, but multiple Republican senators have already said they won’t agree to a vote on Kerry’s nomination until Clinton testifies about the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi. Illness and a concussion has prevented Clinton from appearing thus far.

Since she took to Peruvian TV to accept responsibility for the lack of security that played a starring role in the deadly attack, Hillary Clinton has done everything in her power to avoid said responsibility. She has disappeared from public view. She floated the possibility that she might not testify before Congress at all. Then she mysteriously became ill just before her testimony was to take place. Those four State officers who supposedly quit in the wake of the Accountability Review Board’s report, have not quit at all. The Accountability Review Board’s report itself admits that mistakes were made, just not by anyone in particular. I guess the Universe itself made all those mistakes.

Democrats no longer have the Senate votes to get Kerry or any other nominee through without Republican votes. Nevertheless, watch for Clinton to find some other way to avoid having to answer a simple question under oath: Why did you blame a movie for the terrorist attack, which you knew was a terrorist attack while it was transpiring?
