Rasmussen finds that a number just shy of an outright majority believes that Mitt Romney won the presidential debates: 49% to 40%.
Most voters consider the three presidential debates at least somewhat important to how they will vote, and a plurality of those that watched thinks Mitt Romney was the overall debate winner.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds just eight percent (8%) of Likely U.S. Voters did not watch any of the debates. Sixty-three percent (63%) watched a portion or all of all three debates. Fourteen percent (14%) watched some or all of one of the debates, 15% some or all of two of the prime-time television encounters.
Democrats just can’t bear the fact that their lightworker blew his big moment and that may have cost him the presidency.
Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) joined Al Gore this week in blaming Denver’s altitude for President Obama’s poor performance in the first presidential debate.
“I personally really do believe that the altitude may have had something to do with it,” Kerry told the Sante Fe New Mexican.
Gore previously blamed the high altitude for Obama’s showing, a claim mocked widely by Republicans and comedians.
Kerry was Obama’s sparring partner during the debate rehearsals. Is it possible Kerry failed, and therefore helped Obama fail?
