“Sheik” Ahmad Bahr, a pretty important Hamas “official,” delivered a sermon earlier this month on Al-Aqsa TV, the terrorist group’s television agitprop network:
“Oh, Allah, destroy the Jews and their supporters,” said the oppressed Palestinian. The alleged entity known as “Allah” should also destroy “the Americans and their supporters,” he croaked.
“Oh, Allah, count them one by one, and kill them all, without leaving a single one.”
Somebody call Juan Cole for a linguistic analysis of how this isn’t really a call for the extermination of two entire peoples.
The robed terrorist also said the following:
“If the enemy sets foot on a single square inch of Islamic land, Jihad becomes an individual duty incumbent upon every Muslim, male or female,” Bahr also said. “A woman doesn’t need permission from her husband, nor a servant his master’s permission,” in order to engage in jihad. This, Bahr said, is “in order to annihilate those Jews.”
It seems that, for the Palestinians, gender equity has only been reached in the area of mass murder. This, the Middle Eastern studies academics might say, must surely be called “progress.”
Hamas hates us and wants to kill us? Better send them billions of taxpayer dollars in foreign aid.

This is ritual boasting, indulged in by primitive cultures with a deep sense of inferiority. If Hamas ever mounts a terror operation in the US, they should expect the full weight of America to come down on them. Not saying it could never happen; it could, if Hamas becomes too intoxicated by its pathetic fantasies. Just that it’s unlikely.
Hamas does not have that capability. They are not that large and are focused on local terrorism with the goals of annihilation of Israel and establishment of an Islamic state to include Sinai with Egypt as local ally.
It is not fear of mighty US that keeps them from terrorist operations here. Hezbolla is as healthy as ever and they killed 241 US Marines, kidnapped and tortured Americans, and got away scot free. Iran has been caught planning operations on US soil and they laugh at us in public every day. Our state department hearts the Muslim Brotherhood. Al Queda is alive and well and receiving US support in Syria even if indirectly.
What would we do in Gaza? How would we work an operational plan to deal with that? This month Bar K Moon will be in Tehran along with the chiefs of Hamas who are invited guests. Hamas is not afraid of America they just lack effective means to strike now and are willing to play the long game.
