Obama Does Bin Laden Sack Dance
One interesting note: It turns out that the famed “gutsy call” by Obama wasn’t quite what it was presented to be:
Today, Time magazine got hold of a memo written by then-CIA head Leon Panetta after he received orders from Barack Obama’s team to greenlight the bin Laden mission. Here’s the text, which summarized the situation:
Received phone call from Tom Donilon who stated that the President made a decision with regard to AC1 [Abbottabad Compound 1]. The decision is to proceed with the assault.
The timing, operational decision making and control are in Admiral McRaven’s hands. The approval is provided on the risk profile presented to the President. Any additional risks are to be brought back to the President for his consideration. The direction is to go in and get bin Laden and if he is not there, to get out. Those instructions were conveyed to Admiral McRaven at approximately 10:45 am.
This, of course, was the famed “gutsy call.” Here’s what Tom Hanks narrated in Obama’s campaign film, “The Road We’ve Traveled”:
HANKS: Intelligence reports locating Osama Bin Laden were promising, but inconclusive, and there was internal debate as to what the President should do.
VICE PRESIDENT BIDEN: We sat down in the Situation Room, the entire national security apparatus was in that room, and the President turns to every principal in the room, every secretary, “What do you recommend I do?” And they say, “Well, forty-nine percent chance he’s there, fifty-one … it’s a close call, Mr. President.” As he walked out the room, it dawned on me, he’s all alone. This is his decision. If he was wrong, his Presidency was done. Over.
Only the memo doesn’t show a gutsy call. It doesn’t show a president willing to take the blame for a mission gone wrong. It shows a CYA maneuver by the White House.
The memo puts all control in the hands of Admiral McRaven – the “timing, operational decision making and control” are all up to McRaven. So the notion that Obama and his team were walking through every stage of the operation is incorrect. The hero here was McRaven, not Obama. And had the mission gone wrong, McRaven surely would have been thrown under the bus.
I’m not sure that if the mission had gone south that McRaven would have been a fall guy. No one — not even the press — would have let Obama get away with that. Still, hard to see how much blame he would have gotten for failure after 10 years of missing the boat on getting Bin Laden. It was a very low risk operation politically speaking and the upside, as we have seen, was fleeting.

President Obama is desperately desperate; he’s gasping for air. He’s about to crack.
“he” may be…but his backers are not..
Infact, !!! they have done such works as.. publish the names and contributions of private citizens and investigate their backgrounds if they are large Mitt conributors.
..so, he may be a nut case, but the campaign carries on and tries to destroy everything in it’s wake.
his backers don’t care about him. He’s not the power, they are.
So you admit he is a nut case….awful big of you…if you are going to publish and investigate contributors…be honest and fair and include everyone on both sides of the fence. Altho being a supporter of a “Chicago hoodlum politician”, I doubt very much if you do!
I don’t think Obama made the decision to kill bin Laden. I think Panetta and Hillary and that general with them made the decision. Once the operation was underway, they called Obama in from the golf course to squat down and watch. He didn’t even get a seat at the table in that famous photo where everyone is watching the operation in Pakistan.
This is driving you guys nuts! The implication, however, is quite clear: Mitt Romney would make our nation weak and less safe. The only ones who can’t see that are either too ideologically constipated of simply too ignorant.
Insofar as we conservatives have frequently accused you liberals of being a bunch of cowardly appeasers, I guess we shouldn’t complain when you turn the tables.
Even though you really are a bunch of cowardly appeasers.
As Americans none of us should complain when someone as deserving as Bin Laden is eliminated. President Obama is simply the one that finished the job the doily sniffing conservatives couldn’t or wouldn’t, and it hurts real bad I’m sure.
Couple of thoughts:
1. You, and people like you, were probably protesting when Bush was whacking AQ in Iraq.
2. People see Obama trying to take credit for a SEAL op, and think it unseemly and beneath the office. So this little campaign stunt will back-fire on Obama.
Your boy is a loser.
How would someone who if they were president and would increase military spending while cutting wasteful and sometimes fraudulent federal programs agencies and such. The one thing the federal government is supposed to do for the nation is provide a national defense to keep the nation as a whole safe, anything else is icing on the cake, and we have now run fresh out of icing so food stamps and many agencies are no longer affordable and possibly even needed, hey and this is a novel approach if you do not earn enough money to keep your self (much less your family alive) go to the church or even worse go and get a job where you show up everyday even on the weekends and do something that people will pay you to do GET A JOB and shut the hell up you ingrate!
If the President wishes to emphasize his command decision making abilities, there are various war game simulations he and Mitt Romney can be put in to see if he actually has any.
games..well…he can play as long as he’s several thousand miles away, has cameras make a mockery of a killing in a foreign country, beats his chest, and opens our country up to some sort of a slam that these offended people will come up with. Otherwise, he is powerless.
I believe the twin towers are a “little” thing compared to what will happen here, thanks to all the theatrics , and obama games
I remember watching Bill O’Reilly a day after the bin Laden was killed. He had a T-Shirt for sale on his web page that stated bin Laden 0 – Navy Seals 1. About a week later the terrorist retaliated by ambushing the Navy Seals and 22 Navy Seals were killed. I sent O’Reilly a note bin Laden 22 – Navy Seals 1 and the T-Shirt was gone the next day. No one wants to talk about the horrendous price we ended up paying for taking out bin Laden, that part of history is off limits.
They should have captured bin Laden, it would have been the easiest capture in Navy Seal history and there would have been all sorts of intelligence gathered with our favorite form of recreation, WATERBOARDING!! Killing bin Laden was a huge intelligence mistake but a huge political victory. The LIBTARDS did not want bin Laden in Club Gitmo. Can anyone tell me if it is more moral to blow people into small unrecognizable pieces of flesh rather or waterboarding them?
These kind of decisions were made by a man who should never been allowed anywhere near the Oval Office. He usurped the office and we are paying dearly for that illegal event. The real crime is worse than the original crime, Congress continues to enable this man to usurp that office.
So so true ..
I don’t have a problem with what he is saying, until he uses the word “I”. To be right and proper the President of the United States should always saw “We”, as in “We” got Bin Laden.
Example:
“We chose to go to the Moon” not ” I chose to go to the Moon”
The only time a President of the United States should say “I” is in his memoirs, and to pre-correct a potential misuse of term “memoirs”, those are books that are written by you after you do something, not before.
He…”I”…just sent a few million..about $192 million to the Palestinian authority.., to “protect our interest”…
The “I WON”..DID NOT consult the “we”…just did the “I’ thing..so there is no “we” with obama..it’s allll “I”..AS IN “I WON”…
I have no objection to us (or “him,” [Obama], excuse me) taking out an old, sick, inefectual and retired ex-terrorist for its symbolic value. PsyWar matters too, after all. I wouldn’t have minded some proportion, though. But then, to Democrats killing bin Laden was always the be-all and end-all of the GWOT. Simpletons.
What left me stunned was the orchestrated/fabricated “street reaction” in Washington DC, when hundreds of flag-waving young people descended on Farragut square accross from the White House to cheer the news. In DC? Spontaneous patriotism? Get real.
These were bar-crawling jumior bureaucrats, Hill workers and interns who were undoubtedly texted by the likes of MoveOn.org. They didn’t have far to go to get to the White House. The sea of American flags was the funny part. Where the hell does a spontaneous crowd of people surging out of metrosexual bars get all those flags? Most of these people were in middle and grade school when 9/11 happened, and had no visceral interest in this bin Laden guy.
Wow that is some deep thinking there Bozo my man, I guess every move these jokers make is orchestrated. The ad is hilarious with Clinton narrating, the one who refused to take out Bib Laden when he had the chance.
You are right on this one Trangbang68. What unit were you with in Vietnam? Yes, Bill Clinton in that add is a joke for the very reasons you expose. There would have been no bin Laden if the Whoremonger Slick Willie had done his job and it seems even the conservative media have missed that part of the add.
They also miss the fact that when Joe (Foot in Mouth) Biden talks about foreign policy in an add that he has not gotten ONE foreign policy right in 20 years as so eloquently presented by Charles Krauthammer on Fox News the other night.
“I have no objection to us (or “him,” [Obama], excuse me) taking out an old, sick, inefectual and retired ex-terrorist for its symbolic value.”
Tell that to the families of the over 3,000 people who perished on 9/11.
This sadly dangerous Obama chameleon never gets any credit from me. I hope only that he listens to the Career Civil Service advisers rather than his political cronies. That may well be an in-vain hope.
That’s an iconic picture of him in some sort of a zipper jacket watching the Seals in action against Osama bin Laden, while crouching rather defensively near the wall, seemingly trying to minimize his presence at witnessing something he may’ve set in motion only because he’s the nominal Commander In Chief, otherwise way over his experience grade-level. All of the other figures in the room are physically larger. Nice symbolism.
To me the awed, serious expression on Obama’s face indicates his inner insecurity. The expression on Hilary’s face is also revealing. She seems also awed by the “I-am-there” realization that this actual War, and that “I-am-actually-the-Secretary-of-State watching this action in real time half a world away.”
Actually, a sickening photograph indicating the shallowness of those two characters.
We American voters must never be so snookered again. Nationals of other countries need not comment.
I do remember the white house photo of president urkel and his team while they were waiting for news about the success or failure of the mission to get bin laden. In it, president urkel is slumped down with a sour look on is face, appearing exactly like a spoiled child who has been told he cant have what he wants. My intuition tells me that he really didnt want to kill bin laden, but was unable to stop it from happening. Maybe thats just me.
The brass went behind his back and conducted the raid. Neither he nor Hiliarity knew it was in progress until it was too late to stop it. God bless our military for having the guts to go around this incompetent excuse for a commander in chief.
You’re right about that Michael. However, we did forget to mention that Hillary was painted out of a subsequent picture so as not to offend the muslims…Oh, you have to PC today or else one gets their cookies crunched
What I am wondering is, did either Obama or Dubya attempt these raids in the past, but were unsuccessful? Given how bad it would look (and did look) for Pakistan to be discovered with OBL in their back yard, I would not be surprised if we find out a few decades from now that there were other similar missions before the successful one, but after they did not turn up OBL Pakistani and/or American intelligence covered it up as a “training accident”, “drug raid”, or something.
Impossible to hide? Nonsense. I think it was during the Clinton presidency that we found out via declassified documents that several hundred Americans were killed in a training accident while getting ready for the D-Day invasion of WWII. A lot of people kept their mouths shut for a long time. I think 50 years is the standard time span for declassifying a lot of stuff.
I haven’t quite gotten where this event was “first revealed” under Clinton, for all that I have read that claim several times recently. It’s clearly mentioned in Eisenhower’s Crusade in Europe and several other notable histories of WWII, and a monument was placed at that site (Slapton Sands) on the 10th anniversary of the tragedy.
I,s ironic that Bill Clinton is stumping for Obama on the subject, of killing BinLadin. After all it was Clinton and his NSC advisor Mr. Brennan who allowed BinLadin to escape . When Yemin offered him to the US . I also recall Mr Brennan, who is also the current NSC advisor, stopping another Kill or capture raid on BinLadin. When that raid was close to fruition. On account of the fear of civilian casulity,s . Another Clinton advisor a Mr. Richard Clark CIA Tipped off BinLadin , when the bombs were about to fall on his hunting camp . Because Mr. Clark was afraid for the health of some UAE princelings, who were keeping bad company with UBL on that opportune day. Mr Clinton should remember his failings, on the subject and keep his mouth shut . So as not to bring attention to his utter failure to deal with BinLadin On his own watch.
Can anyone imagine the “outrage” if a Republican President did this — the MSM would go stark raving mad! And, of course, the news was out this morning that the intrepid POTUS really not so much in the OBL raid.
Move along — Nothing to see here. Somebody must be getting some real bad poll numbers in Chicago.
The only reason this fool is still in office is the silence from our Republican Congress as to his ineligibility and the crimes he has committed on his way to usurping the office of the POTUS. They have enabled this most dangerous national security risk in the country today by not confronting the criminal issues that have been exposed by law enforcement officers. There are numerous Obama ballot challenges going on across the country and the conservative media continue to ignore all of them. Sheriff Joe Arpaio has gone from “probable cause” into an on-going “criminal” investigation and not a peep from the conservative media. What a damn shame when we cannot count on those we though were our friends.
Obama had to be called in from playing golf to be “the decider-in-chief.” That’s why he looks like a little boy huddled in the corner in his golf shirt ,in the situation room photo.
Immediately previous to that, he wasted 16 hours avoiding being the decider-in-chief. Don’t forget these details.
Obama is a pathetic WPOS. Biden is a buffoon. It is time for Dubya to step up to the plate and let the One know what a creep he is.
this is sick! this sounded like killing obl was all about obama instead of protecting all Americans. the war on terror is bigger than obama’s ego or lack of leadership. one jerk propping up another jerk!
The nailing of bin-Laden was the culmination of a massive decade-long effort by thousands of dedicated professionals, like Project Apollo, a task which required nothing more of the Chief Executive but to stay out of the way and let them get on with it; and for Obama to claim credit for it is as absurd and unseemly as it would have been had Nixon claimed credit for the moon landing.
@5 Charlie Griffith: That photo was staged. There was no live camera feed from the mission; that’s been confirmed. While the team was carrying cameras and there is video, it was entirely local and not broadcast in real-time.
(Think about it- an operation like that would have been conducted under total EMCON: no electronic transmissions going out which would reveal the SEALs’ presence.)
So, What were the “deciders” in the White House Situation Room looking at in that famous photo?
Then, perhaps explain what is drawing their rigid attention….those facial expressions of all of those key people pulled together informally in that apparently rather confined space weren’t concentrating so intently merely on Walter Cronkite or Dan Rather……..pretty good stage direction, I’d say.
RE: #13 ….Bohemond….
…..for a Post Script, of sorts, see my #28 below for more detail from Agence France Presse….of all media….
The golf outing is interesting and has yet to be commented upon meaningfully. Would Obama have gone to the course if he knew the mission was ongoing? I don’t think so–too much worry that if a tragedy happened, a la Desert One, the meme would be: Obama was golfing while SEALs were dying. More likely the grown-ups withheld from him the info that Panetta had pushed the go button and the birds were airborne and inbound. They wanted him out of the way and unable to make a panicked decision or lose nerve or face a balling out from Valerie. When touchdown approached, he was retreived from the seventh tee at Army-Navy and got back to find out the mission was about to commence. That explains the wee-we’ed up body posture and the fear on his face. Of course there was nothing he could do but grin and bear it. The SEALs did their thing and OBL went sleeping with the fishes. At that point Obama showed he didn’t have the self-discipline to keep the secret and thus maximize any intelligence collection; instead, he immediately politicized the thing and did the man-walk to the podium that night, as if he’d been first out of the helo. Repulsive, but SOP for this guy.
When will the truth be known? It’s clear that to authorize this mission without Pakistani cooperation would be very risky, possibly negligent. Had the supposedly unaware Paki troops opened up, we breach their sovereignty and fight an important ally in the Afghan effort? “Gutsy call” means no Paki cooperation.
What is more plausible is that after simultaneous visits to Pakistan by Petraeus and Panetta in the days before the raid, an agreement was reached that US forces would handle the mission, providing a cover for the Pakistani’s regarding UBL (he is revered in Pakistan) and their military was ordered to stand down.
All we had to do is find the place, land safely and eliminate one or two shooters.
This is a scam on a similar level as the election of BHO.
I think Barack Obama might wish to be a little more humble in his contemplations of his “great” “crowded hour” vis a vis the bin Laden decision, because I’m not entirely sure it wasn’t a case of not being able to do anything but act.
– Days in May.
Instead of narating for obama, hanks should have brought a copy of his movie “Big” to the whitehouse, sat down with barry and made him watch it over and over again until barry realized it was time for him to go find that fortune telling machine. figuratively speaking.
Interesting to observe that the tools used to snuff Bin Laden were ones put in place by Bush/Cheney – tools that Obama objected to – and voted against – yet has no qualms in claiming personal success through those tools as if they were his own ideas.
Like Romney said – we aren’t stupid.
He wants us to laud him for making the exact kind of decision we hired him for.
Something here about being insecure…
You know what I think. I think Barry read “Atlas Shrugged”, “1984″ and “Animal Farm” and thought they were textbooks, not cautionary tales. ‘course most Democrats see “Animal Farm” as a texbook. With themselves as the pigs.
Yeah, so bin Laden’s rotting corpse is on the bottom of the ocean. Great. Job well done. Now, what about jobs, inflation, tax reform, getting rid of that godawful Obamacare, cutting government spending and rolling back a mountain of unnecessary and onerous regulations? Some attention to the pressing issues of the day, Mr. President?
Ever seen a live fish out of water? It flops about and gasps for air. But its gills are not adapted to take oxygen directly from the open air. Your first humane reaction is to throw the fish back into the water.
But, what if this fish is Obama? Would you throw him back into his comfort zone? The man’s gills are not adapted to breathe the air of freedom. The water he longs to get back into is the swamp. And we have to drain this swamp. So where do you put Obama? In a museum?
…..perhaps deposit him in a figurative after-election-day-tank after he’s been effectively hooked upwards, and then out of the White House….labelled and displayed as a specimen of what we voters must not ever let happen again.
The Chicago swamp where he came from.
The only reason the anointed one gave the go ahead to waste Osama was the left’s concern that Obama would be criticized if he said “no” to the killing. The word would float out that, like Clinton, Obama had the chance to get Obama and he didn’t take it.
Obama was worried about the political repercussions if he said, “no.”
Obama is a gutless wonder of a communist whose every decision depends on the political component. If he fails to destroy the United States, he’ll consider his life a failure. This traitorous, corrupt miscreant of a mental disease must be voted out of office and sent packing; back to the Marxist dregs of society from whence he came.
“I’m not sure that if the mission had gone south that McRaven would have been a fall guy.”
I’m not sure that if the mission had gone south that we’d have even heard about it. I doubt the Pakistanis would have made a fuss about the incursion, absent the publicity of a kill, either.
He’s all about taking credit for the deeds of others.
We would have gotten him anyway, no matter who was president. All he did was issue the order. The SEALS got him.
Here’s an interesting paste from Google’S News covering an AFP interview with Panetta
……”AFP,Panetta recalls ‘nail-biting’ wait during Bin Laden raid
AFP – 53 minutes ago….
By Jordi Zamora (AFP) [ MY PASTE Starts....]
….”A famous picture sent around the world shows Obama, his cabinet secretaries and key advisors looking with concern at a screen in a basement conference room of the White House. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton can be seen anxiously covering her mouth with one hand.
Panetta said the photo was taken when the SEAL helicopter fell to the ground.
“I asked Admiral McRaven, ‘Okay, what’s next’ and he said ‘Don’t worry, we’re ready for this,’” Panetta said.
A year later, a lingering mystery remains over whether there is live footage of Operation Neptune’s Spear, which is suggested by the White House basement photo.
Panetta did not give a definitive answer but did acknowledge the operation was monitored closely.
The CIA chief was biting his nails again when the SEALs entered bin Laden’s house.
There was “a long period of silence after they went in, not knowing exactly what happened,” Panetta said.
“And we knew gunshots had been fired but after that I just didn’t know,” he said.
After a 20-minute lull, he said, “McRaven reported finally he thought they had picked up the code word Geronimo. And the way he said it, it was like, we remember, ‘Geronimo KIA,’” he said. KIA is the acronym for “killed in action.”
“And that was that,” the defense secretary said.
The SEAL team then returned to their helicopter, carrying their equipment and the body of bin Laden.
“Of course by that time they had blown the helicopter that was down and you knew that we had woken up all of Pakistan to the fact that something had happened,” Panetta said.
The SEAL team then raced across the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan safely.
Panetta said there were no shouts of joy at the CIA headquarters, where he was surrounded by other members of the US military’s Special Forces.
“We all kind of looked at each other,” Panetta said. “As a matter of fact, I have a picture in my office of all of us putting our arms around each other. We got the job done.”
This is probably as close as we’re likely to come on the question of the picture being “staged”.

…..that’s the link to the famous photograph. The photographer ought to get a Pulitzer for that.
THIS IS PURE “BULL” AND CLINTON DOES IT JUST ABOUT THE BEST. WHY?
LET’S GLORIFY COWARDICE SINCE HE LEFT IT UP TO THE ADMIRAL TO MAKE THE DECISION.
IS BILL HELPING HILLARY FOR 2016?
OBAMA TOOK HER OPPORTUNITY AWAY FROM HER WITH HIS CORRUPT LIBERAL LEFT IN 2008!
Speaking of sack dances and trophy celebrations, how about those GIs dancing around the remains of a Taliban suicide bomber’s lover half? And then all the subsequent hand washing by silk suited talking heads over that despicable triumphalism at the grunt level. Ah, priceless, even if the troops did get disciplined for being too humanistic it was worth it. I wonder how those troops were disciplined? Bet they were not threatened with being sent back to Afghanistan to collect more trophies.
I am wryly amused that no one is asking a quite reasonable question. Is OBL really dead? Imagine a Seals operation – the planning, the logistics, the getting in and the getting out. It was a smooth success. Only one chopper was lost and that too because of an accident and not because the Paki military was firing on them. Abbotabad is a garrison town. It also houses Pakistan’s ‘West Point”.
A smmoth operation, lasting about 30 minutes. Can anyone tell me why OBL (apparently old and feeble and offering no resistance – only one of his wives fought back and got shot for her bravery) – why OBL would be more valuable dead than alive? The burial at sea is convenient – no body, no grave and only sailors to bear witness (or not).
Is OBL in Gitmo, having the screws put on him? Is he singing like a canary?
You can cart CDs, computers and what not within 30 minutes, why can’t you cart OBL?

As BHO begins this “spiking football” strategy which has become breaking news, I reflected that a year ago when all photographic evidence was declared “off limits” I told my wife …at least until October surprise time/pre 2012 election. I guess we’ll finally get a chance to see “something” before the election. My other thought is why hasn’t any “responsible” journalist made some revelations about Bill Clinton’s suspect ability as a spokesman particularly on the OBL story. Americans are not necessarily the most historical or the most internationally oriented, but we are not stupid either! How many chances did “I feel your pain”, our first black president and now resurrected “senior statesman” (compared to Jimmy Carter, what irony) Bill have to take out OBL and what provocations occurred during “the Clinton Watch”. Is this perhaps part of Bill’s “resurrection” tour as a statesman, (…”I didn’t take any opportunity of many to take out OBL before 9/11, so let’s give Barry some credit (and he will keep me on as spokesman/senior statemen….). Off the top of my head 93 World Trade Center Bombing, Saudi Bombings 96, OBL in Sudan 97, US east African embassy bombings 98 (perjury testimony/ Wag the Dog), USS Cole 2000…. GOP punditry-please! Jump on this for all the votes you can get in this vanilla vs. chocolate election year. Go figure, the impeached non-action oriented finger in the wind Bill as spokesman for the should be impeached, lead from behind finger in the wind second black president. This should be obvious!
I think the appropriate response to all this braggadocio about about killing Bin Ladin is: “So? What’s changed since that happened?” Apparently nothing.
A better question is: “Who gave the order to give bin Laden a “proper” Islamic funeral so we wouldn’t offend all those peaceful “moderate” Muslims who supposedly didn’t support bin Laden?”
He should have been wrapped in bacon, rolled in lard and thrown overboard while playing a video of Porky Pig saying: “th-th-th-a-a-ats a-all folks.”
The killing of bin Laden is the biggest trumped up non story in years.
…..what, in particular, are you trolling for?
What do you mean trolling? I was just trying to point out that killing bin Laden was, in fact, much ado about nothing. And maybe that accomodating the enemy by giving a “proper” Islamic funeral says more about the mission than the killing itself.
“It’s now sad to see . . .”
_______________
Wow. Can the Romney camp get any more mild and lukewarm?
How about some real outrage? But then again, you really cannot rage against Obama’s political use of bin Laden here when Romney’s own mouthpiece then goes ahead and does the very same thing by using it as an occasion to shill for him, “Mitt Romney is focused on strengthening America at home and abroad.”
“The Man Who Shot Osama bin Laden”
On this, the day after the first anniversary of the untimely death of master terrorist and mass murderer Osama bin Laden, since we have seemingly escaped Islamic retaliation for that cleansing of the planet, Americans should all rejoice that we have our president.
By now, Osama’s sorry carcass has been consumed by ravenous fishes not very selective about what they eat and it seems altogether fitting and proper to honor the man most responsible for ridding the world of the vermin that once was bin Laden.
While the courageous men of SEAL Team Six may have technically pulled the triggers at the vermin’s slummy compound in beautiful, downtown Abbottabad, every reasonable person knows in their heart of hearts that President Barack Hussein Obama deserves the credit.
Accordingly, for the reader’s listening and viewing pleasure, I am reprising Paul Shanklin’s memorable rendition of “The Man Who Shot Osama bin Laden,” which was first heard on Rush Limbaugh’s radio show last May.
The song had been removed by YouTube due to alleged “copyright infringements” but, thanks to my tireless searching and in the interests of providing a public service, I have been able to retrieve it. WARNING: The presentation is replete with graphic graphics showing the deceased bin Laden in all his inglorious, dead splendor.
False rumors have been circulating that our heroic leader was somewhat less of a hero and failed to provide any leadership at all during the tense hours leading up to his finest foreign policy achievement. They are all poppycock!
Americans should disregard as meaningless multiple reports that our president was so upset over the prospect of killing another human being a year ago that he retreated from the White House Situation Room, went to bed, and left the momentous decision to either then-CIA Director Leon Panetta or Special Ops Admiral William McRaven. . .
