President Obama stopped into “a divey kind of place” in Boulder, Colo., this evening, where he came into a cultured line of fire.
At a bar called The Sink, the president stopped to take photos with students and shake hands. He bought a pizza and a stack of T-shirts, according to the White House pool report, and was mingling outside when a young woman spilled yogurt on him.
“It appeared to hit his pants,” the report stated. “The president wiped himself off with a towel and made a wry comment about the Secret Service, but pooler couldn’t hear his exact words.”
“Getting yogurt on the president, you’ve got a story to tell,” Obama told the woman, who was heard saying, “I’m very embarrassed.”
Inside the bar, one business major told Obama that she wanted to start a cheese fries restaurant.
“Sounds low calorie,” Obama quipped. “It sounds good.”
