PJM Exclusive on Homeland Security Leaker Picks up Steam

Two weeks ago I broke the story that Homeland Security Advisory Council member Mohamed Elibiary allegedly leaked sensitive Texas Dept. of Public Safety documents to a left-leaning media publication claiming the documents represented a pattern of “Islamophobia” – a claim the publication rejected.

That same day, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX1) questioned DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano about the story during a House Judiciary Committee hearing, where she claimed to know nothing about the matter. As a result of our exclusive PJM investigation, TX Dept. of Public Safety director Steve McCraw formally asked DHS to conduct an investigation into the matter.

I’ve subsequently reported that Elibiary’s access to the Homeland Security State and Local Intelligence Community of Interest (HS SLIC) database had been revoked, and that Elibiary was the only member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council – one of 26 – that was given special access to this database.

Now other media outlets are starting to pick up the story following this video report from CBN News reporter Erick Stakelbeck:
