Letterman Responds to Chris Christie Boomlet with a Bunch of Fat Jokes

I haven’t watched David Letterman since he made sex jokes about Sarah Palin’s daughter. He has gone from being an edgy wit to being a sleaze, and judging by this clip, a lazy sleaze. His response to the possibility of Chris Christie running for president is to reel off ten straight weak fat jokes. To paraphrase Jerry Seinfeld, this doesn’t so much offend me as a conservative as it offends me as a writer.
