Good news! You have all weekend to recuperate from most anticipated announcement in the history of Mitt Romney’s life. We couldn’t make it to the BBQ in Stratham, NH, but we hear that dozens of people politely clapped several times during Romney’s remarks.
If you didn’t get your fill of polite clapping, get thee to 111 East Union Street in Somerset, PA at 11:30 on Monday where former Senator Rick Santorum promises, “an important announcement about the 2012 race.” Adding in his email to supports, “it seems every day another public official is making some sort of announcement or another.” (He’s already establishing some credibility with me for that observation.)
If only a charismatic leader could break through all this polite clapping, perhaps then the GOP would have a real front runner.
