General Motors -– i.e. the U.S. Government — is Sponsoring a Chinese Communist Party Propaganda Film

Here’s how that brilliance works.

The federal government – via bailouts – owns 33% of General Motors, thusly transforming it into Government Motors (GM).

So when GM decides to sponsor a flick commemorating the 90th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), it is a United States government de facto endorsement of the murderous Chinese Communist regimeWhat an outstanding idea.

In late 2010, General Motors agreed to sponsor a propaganda film celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The CCP made film titled (translated to English) “The Birth of a Party” or “The Great Achievement of Founding the Party” is set to premiere all over the Communist nation on June 15 reported China AutoWeb last September. The auto website adds:

“According to an announcement posted on Shanghai GM’s official web site yesterday, whose title reads “joining hands with China Film Group, Cadillac whole-heartedly supports the making of the Birth of a Party…”

Wow, that’s just fantastic.  But it gets so much better.

“As the CCP marries totalitarianism with capitalism and fools the people with entertainment, only the ‘politically correct’ or stupid–or those who pretend to be so–can get rich. And GM seems to know this very well. While Audi, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Volvo have all rushed to please China’s rich and powerful through physical enlargement (offering models of extended wheelbases), Cadillac gratifies the party orally, singing praises through a film.”

(All bolding mine.)

The Chinese Communist Party has during its seventy-plus year rule slaughtered by some estimates 80 million of its people – and tortured, imprisoned and oppressed everyone else (one child policy, anyone?).

That’s certainly something that the United States – the land of the free and the home of the brave – should be supporting.

We owe them hundreds of billions of dollars – we do not owe them this.

Which raises a question.

Did Government Motors – i.e. the U.S. government – borrow the money from the Chinese Communists to then fund their propaganda flick?

We were (rightly) outraged when New York City’s Empire State Building lit itself up in Chi-Comm red and gold to commemorate the CCP’s 70th year of lording over the world’s largest national population.

This is inarguably worse.

Wasn’t transforming General Motors into Government Motors a good idea?

Even with the audacity of this administration I find it hard to believe that they would bend over that much, oh that’s right he did bow to them…
Do you have any links that can be sourced to point this blatant stupidity out?

    • L.

The link is in the story, under the bold text “What an outstanding idea”.

GM just came out and said SGM in China is a dealer network and has no connection whatsoever with GM company. If this is true, WP and PJM hopefully don’t get sued their a$$ over disinformation

So, “…SGM in China is a dealer network and has no connection whatsoever with GM company.” Does anyone seriously think that a U.S. dealership celebrating NAMBLA, would get a pass from G.M.? BUICK is BIGin the Communist dictatorship. I wouldn’t be surprised to see it one day, under Chinese ownership.
