'My editors decided against it'

What did President Obama say at a recent fundraiser, that is at the same time said to be offensive, yet is being hidden by the only news organization that has the tape?

Last weekend, His Presidency Barack Obama was captured making potentially offensive comments to a group of big money donors who had paid large sums of money for special access to His Presidency.

We observed that CBS only released “selectively edited” moments from the raw tape. We know how much the mainstream media values complete and full disclosure of recordings of this nature, so we found it curious, to say the least, that there was not one drop of intellectual curiosity from these guardians of media purity regarding the content of the full recording.

We really don’t learn all that much about this president from the MSM, do we? We didn’t learn about his “bitter clinger” remarks from the mainstreamers; that came from a blogger. When the world learned about Obama’s association with Rev. Jeremiah Wright, the mainstreamers on JouroList rose up in Obama’s defense — as did Newsweek. The MSM eventually reported it, but not with much gusto. And now, we have CBS in possession of a tape containing Bitter Clinger II, and they won’t release it.

If journalists, in lefty parlance, are supposed to “afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted,” then what to make of a news organization that won’t release a tape in which the President of the United States apparently calls some Americans “slugs?” CBS seems to be afflicting the afflicted and comforting the comfortable.
