President Obama's bipartisanship founders

Little Barry does not play well with some of the other children; remediation is suggested.

During a fund raiser in Chicago, President Obama and apparently even TOTUS thought he was speaking where his comments would not be heard by anyone other than his supporters. Modestly carrying forward his bipartisan efforts to mend the divide in the country (there is a video at the link), he observed

I said, ‘You want to repeal health care? Go at it. We’ll have that debate. You’re not going to be able to do that by nickel-and-diming me in the budget. You think we’re stupid?'” the president reportedly said.

Obama also complained about GOP attempts to attach a bill to the resolution to fund the government that would defund women’s health services provider Planned Parenthood.

“Put it in a separate bill,” the president said he told House Speaker John Boehner and his staff. “We’ll call it up. And if you think you can overturn my veto, try it. But don’t try to sneak this through.”

The President also spoke harshly of Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), the GOP’s Budget Committee chairman, claiming that he pretends to want to save the country money but voted for two wars that haven’t been paid for yet. Ditto the “Bush tax cuts.”

That’s gonna show those obstructionist Republicans.

I told those racist jerks they better watch out; I am The Won!  They won’t forget how great I am now, that’s for sure. Boy were they scared of me.  Pow! Wham!  Right in the kisser.

OK, President Obama didn’t really say it in those precise words, but he didn’t have to.  He is forceful and courageous! Able even to cause the seas no longer to rise while leaping over giant credibility gaps at a single bound! His modesty and transparency enable him to perform these miracles effortlessly. It’s probably best to doff our hats only after he has flown over.

Could President Obama be practicing for future encounters with Hugo Chávez in Venezuela, Bashar al-Assad in Syria, Kim Jong-il in North Korea, Ali Abdullah Saleh in Yemen? Nah. But Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu – the world’s worst and probably only enemy of peace – had better watch out or President Obama’s gonna get him.
