Fred Upton in his district to slam him for trying to rein in the Obama EPA. This isn&amp;#8217;t a one-off action for the ALA. Just a few days back, the ALA stood alongside the EPA&amp;#8217;s Lisa Jackson to support the agency&amp;#8217;s recent moves, moves which may end up skyrocketing our electricity rates. And while clean air standards are obviously in the ALA&amp;#8217;s wheelhouse, in the case of the EPA&amp;#8217;s overreach in Texas, the EPA is acting against a state-level clean air program that works as well as, if not better than, the EPA&amp;#8217;s own mandates. Basically, the ALA is uncritically supporting whatever the Obama EPA comes up with.
