Death of Common Sense, Chapt 1205

I was against the abolition of “don’t ask don’t tell,” the latest anthropological experiment imposed on our troops by people who have never served in the military, let alone gone into battle.  I am impressed by the forceful rejection by the Marines, from the commandant to the enlisted guys.

But the experimenters aren’t content with that;  they are demanding–and apparently carrying out–new “training” on the battlefield, in preparation for the formal abolition of DADT.

This is truly idiotic.  If the anthropological experiment is inevitable, then at least do the “sensitivity” training as part of the normal training cycle.  To lecture our fighters about toleration of homosexuality while they are actually at war is yet another chapter in the sad chronicles of political correctness trumping common sense.
