Video: Muslim Student Association pledges allegiance to the Muslim Brotherhood

Last August I reported here at Pajamas Media about the long line of Muslim Student Association (MSA) leaders who have been involved and convicted in terrorist plots directed at the United States (“The Muslim Student Association’s Terror Problem“). The MSA’s connection to the international Muslim Brotherhood has received widespread media attention, most notably a Dec. 2003 front page article in the Wall Street Journal by investigative reporter Paul Barrett, who recounts the story of Mustafa Saied, who was recruited into the Muslim Brotherhood through his MSA chapter at the Univ. of Tennessee.

But if there was any question about the MSA’s connection to the Muslim Brotherhood (notwithstanding Suhail Khan’s claim this past weekend at CPAC that “there is no Muslim Brotherhood in the United States”), the video below taken from the MSA West regional conference held this January shows keynote speaker Amir Abdel Malik closing the session by leading the crowd in the MSA’s “pledge of allegiance”. And this wasn’t some undercover sting operation that obtained this video, but posted by one a MSA leader on Youtube (the pledge is ~53.00).

Here is the pledge, with subtitles:

Their “pledge of allegiance” is as follows:

Allah is my lord.
Islam is my life.
The Koran is my guide.
The Sunna is my practice.
Jihad is my spirit.
Righteousness is my character.
Paradise is my goal.
I enjoin what is right.
I forbid what is wrong.
I will fight against oppression.
And I will die to establish Islam.

This pledge is an adaptation of the Muslim Brotherhood’s credo:

Allah is our objective.
The Prophet is our leader.
The Qur’an is our law.
Jihad
is our way.
Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.

And who is Amir Abdel Malik? He’s a notorious hatemonger known for promoting anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, including his claim that Jews were behind the 9/11 attacks. Even the far Left Southern Poverty Law Center has exposed the MSA speaker.
