CPAC: No "picnics" at the Justice Department and black panther news

This morning I appeared on a panel at CPAC with National Review’s Andy McCarthy and Hans von Spakovsky of the Heritage Foundation.  We three DOJ vets discussed “Lawlessness, Racialism and Terror at Obama’s Department of Justice.”

From the Don’t Throw Me in the Briar Patch file, TPM Muckraker picked up a portion of my speech when I described how the Housing Section at the DOJ won’t have an office “picnic” because the word picnic is viewed as racially insensitive.  I’ve talked about this many times, but apparently TPM found it so outlandish and crazy that I had to be making it up, so they posted it.  Thanks guys, but I suspect you’ll be yanking that story shortly when you do some checking, because it’s true and widely known.  In fact, I suspect the particular Housing Section lawyers crazed enough to believe it don’t want their names used, and I won’t.  But the lunacy at Eric Holder’s DOJ has even outpaced TPM Muckraker, and that’s really saying something.

A PJTV interview with me and Hans discussing some breaking news on the New Black Panther case and the DOJ’s lawless politicization of Freedom of Information Act compliance is here.

My speech, as well as von Spakovsky’s is linked here.
