It was obvious from the ‘tepid’ responses of the Cadets that they do not think this policy is worth the paper its printed on.
They applauded, but lets be real here, grudgingly. They showed respect for the office. They were not rude. But there was no support, no enthusiasm in their responses.
They saw the July 2011 withdrawal comment for what it is….. a political calculation designed to try to win back some left wing support for his party just before the elections. If they pull out as of July 2011, its because Obama wants to try to salvage the election for his party. And no other reason.
