Weird speech. Of course the mandatory Bush bashing. Than, the sly suggestion that it was he who brought the Iraq war to a successful conclusion while never crediting the fact that it was because of Bush’s determination that Iraq is now a functioning, fledgling democracy rather than a totalitarian slave state. Followed by a muddled vision of the correct course in Afghanistan, all the time avoiding any talk of victory, or of crushing the enemy, and indicating that win or lose, we’re out in eighteen months. And finally, this babbling about the monetary costs of this endeavor. Laughable. He’s worried about tens of billions, when he’s flushed trillions down the crapper. So much for the new transparency. Whatever obama is, he’s not fit to be president. Not fit to command troops. Pathetic performance.
