To all the comments above, most are interesting reads with valid points, I’ll take the wait and see atitude on the President elect and hope like heck we can contain and/or survive when he is tested by our foreign adversaries.

to 17 above..well for starters it’s “RAPTURE” and my only consolation is that if a revolution does come, people like you will be the first ones offered a brief smoke and a blindfold while you lean agaisnt the wall.

As for 25 above… lets ponder some of this for a minute, Hmm shift the Defense Budget to feed the poor….How long do you suppose this country would exist after that happened? Contrary to popular belief, the world is not full of “Nice People”. If you think it is then you really need to look around, or take a look at any history book and see what happens to any country with percieved wealth when it can no longer defend itself.
Also I seem to recall a time in american history when groups of people were “cared for” and given food, clothing and all of their basic needs were met. Except I dont think the Black people were very happy with that but I will admit I might be wrong since so many people seem to want to go back to it. Hmm how many people died to put an end to that happy little practice? Also I would suggest you go ask an american indian if they were particularly pleased to be “cared for” by the government.
