the propaganda has been effective enough to deliver the most propitious circumstances to the SCO strategists. we are, after all, in a state of public political discourse where simple naming of the enemy in his own terms is self-preempted by fear of calling down a raft of Soviet epithets on one’s head. and so, when the iran crisis can be leveraged along with, say, a venezuelan move against colombia, russia against ukraine, and a bold move against land supply lines in AfPak… what will the man tutored by leninists and kgb front organizations do in the ultimate moment? he will do what he has been trained to do: collapse in disillusion, and take american credibility down with him. of course we will bounce, but the damage will be tremendous.
