At the end of the day, Walzer seems to be someone who places his wet finger into the air to see which way the wind blows. The "J Street" crowd is comprised of grossly immature people who believe that all difficulties can be resolved via negotiations. They refuse to realize that some scoundrels have no interest whatsoever in achieving a win-win solution with them. On the contrary, their foes clearly want their extinction. "J Street" folks get especially discombobulated when the thugs are perceived to be dark skinned victims of Western oppression. Alas, few Palestinians have blue eyes and blond hair. One must understand that the typical Harvard soft science graduate may not give a damn about the search for truth. The only question they ask themselves is this: "Is it going to look good on my resume?" Things probably get much worse when these individuals desire to obtain an advanced degree behind their name.
