Something that I have noticed over the last 5 years, reading accounts of Iraq, is that the difference between Iraqis and Palestinians is quite striking, in that Iraqis really do love their children very much. I have often thought that it is the most hopeful thing about Iraq, and if they succeed, it will have come down to loving their children enough to do it.
