That’s probably because there was practicaly no increase in the debt when Bush was president, and it’s Congress that runs up debt, anyway. When the Republicans took control of Congress in 1995, the debt stood at 66.4% of GDP. When the Dems regained control of Congress in 2007 it stood at 63.1%, it was at 69.2 in 2008 (Bush’s last year in office), and, by 2010, with the Dems running Congress, and the little boy who would be president in the White House, debt rocketed up to 93.3% of GDP.

We’re in the mess we’re in because liberal Democrats put us there. That’s not 100% correct, but it’s pretty damned close.

The really bad news is that the House is now controlled by the GOP, and they’ve done nothing to correct the situation (which they could do by simply refusing to initiate any more bills to raise revenue by borrowing), and now debt is over 100% freaking % of GDP, thanks to their caving into this thief Obama, and the scum in the Democrat Party.

Btw, I hope I didn’t offend any scum out there. Scum isn’t so bad that it merits comparison to thieving trash like the Dems.
