I hear him lecturing people, again. Along the lines of the “We have to eat our peas” and “trade in your SUV” statements. That’s what is astonishing to me- the lack of compassion. Clinton and Bush were both very good at exuding compassion, but Obama simply cannot relate to the ordinary American. People are struggling, and growing frustrated. He shouldn’t be lecturing folks on patience- he should be asking for it.
